- Q: What is the difference between your new reformulated ClearLungs Blue and your classic ClearLungs Red formulas?
- A: ClearLungs Blue once contained a small amount of ephedra, while ClearLungs Red was always ephedra-free. In 2002, we reformulated ClearLungs Blue to remove the ephedra, and at the same time, we elected to make it even more effective. New ClearLungs Blue (Extra Strength) has the same Chinese herbal formula, but it is made with 5:1 herbal extracts instead of dried and powdered herbs, and homeopathic ingredients have also been added for even better effectiveness. In short, if you love ClearLungs Red, it is still available, but you may prefer new stronger ClearLungs Blue. ClearLungs Blue is classified as an over-the-counter drug because of the homeopathic ingredients, while ClearLungs Red remains classified as a nutritional supplement. New ClearLungs Blue is also available in a pleasant-tasting all-vegan liquid formula.
- Q. Obviously, ClearLungs must be a very effective product to achieve such best selling status. What is so unique about this product?
- A . To put it in the simplest terms, IT WORKS! Creating an effective herbal formula is not an easy thing to do. Simply varying the amounts of some ingredients in the formula can reduce the effectiveness of the product.
- For example, two competitive products with the exact same listing of herbal ingredients on their labels can produce different results because the amount of each herb in the formula will vary. ClearLungs produces exceptional results.
- Q . Are there any side effects associated with taking ClearLungs?
- A. None are known. Very rarely, someone will experience a symptom while taking ClearLungs, such as a mild rash or stomach upset, that may or may not be associated with the product. The reported cases have been rare and very mild, and we have been unable to isolate and confirm whether ClearLungs caused them. It should be noted that ClearLungs contains almond powder, and should be avoided by anyone with severe allergies to tree nuts.
- Q. Can a person take ClearLungs while taking prescription drugs or other medications?
- A. Yes. Most of our products, like ClearLungs, are complex formulas with small doses of many different ingredients. This reduces the likelihood of an adverse reaction or interaction with a drug. As a rule, it is best to take ClearLungs a few hours before or after taking medication. Also, please consult your physician if you are on prescription medication. - Q. Can children take ClearLungs?
- A. Yes. The usual dosage for children is half the adult dosage. You can adjust the dosage for body weights. For example, if a teenager has an adult weight, he or she would take an adult dosage.
